A Mother's Love

A mothers love is a love that lasts forever!

Subhannallah it is amazing how hard we as mothers fall in love with our new born babies. Some women claim they never believed in love at first sight until they gave birth. A mothers love for her child is unconditional, we may not always LIKE what our children may do or choose in life but our love for them is always there. They remain in our minds continuously, our thoughts and dua's (prayers) are with them where ever they may be. Yet, a mothers love is nothing compared to the love Allah (swt) has for His creation. To even try to understand the love of Allah is incomprehensible. Allahu akbar.

This is my thought of the day. :)

  1. Aww mashaAllah Umm Ahmad, what a beautiful post to sign into and see.
It is true though, Allah is the Most Loving and His Love is truly magnificent.
I am excited by the from conception. I love them as soon as I see them on the screen. Then i am filled with love and excitement till they arrive. Then I am truly and utterly content.
Then they grow into little rascals and then drive me crazy, but i love them unconditionally! lol

    1. Your reply really put a smile on my face! Motherhood is amazing and I too wouldn't trade it for anything in the world (including the pains sufferings we go through for our little ones!). Even though my little one is only 9 months old he is becoming quite the little rascal as well! Hehe.

  2. "Allah made Mercy 100 parts. He kept 99 parts and sent one part down to earth. From this is all the compassion and mercy in creation even the horse lifting its hoof for fear of hurting its young."

Al wadud is one the 99 names of Allah (swt). The One who loves. The One who is the source of all love and loving-kindness.

The One Love. The One who is most affectionate. The Beloved.

The One who is deserving of all love and affection. The One who is the goal of the highest love.

May Allah forgive our sins and accept our duas. May Allah increase your love for baby boy Ahmad:) Amin
